@dailymailuk: Majestic footage has been captured of around 150 Exmoor ponies racing across the road in Devon🐴🌿 Exmoor ponies usually get rounded up for their annual health checks, in a tradition dating back nearly a century. Vets and handlers examine microchips, hooves and overall health. The ponies are one of Britain’s oldest native breeds, originating from the wild moorlands of Exmoor across Somerset and Devon 🇬🇧 Annual checks play an important role in protecting the herds’ welfare, monitoring their health and managing breeding on the moors. They also help safeguard this endangered native breed for future generations 💚
