@widowwithwisdom: Not every difficult grief moment needs a silver lining. Sometimes things are just awful, and that's the whole sentence. What positive-sounding grief advice actually made things worse? Toxic positivity during grief can make people feel pressured to find something good in painful experiences. Grief support should make room for difficult emotions without demanding optimism.
He’s looking over you, he’d want u to be happy…..well I don’t want him looking over me! I want him here!!!!! 😭💔

"Pretty soon the pain will be almost non existent and you will laugh about how big you are making this." This after losing my husband / best friend of 29 years (over half my life), having my sons abandon me when I needed them most, choosing to cut ties with my younger toxic sister, plus losing 4 friends and my older sister...all within 11 months. 😭

I dont remember anyone offering any advice. Noone came to the house to see me, and the majority of my coworkers avoided me like I was contagious, or scary some how.

Comparing the fact that someone lost two sisters growing up. I am sorry but there’s no comparison to losing your husband. I truly hate to say that because here I am comparing. I lost my brother too but it feels wayyyy different than losing Scott😔
