@deskdaemon: One command sets up Claude Code's auto mode for you. It reads your project, so you don't have to explain it. Ever re-explained your setup from scratch? 👇 READ BELOW What it is: The command /auto-mode-setup (said "slash auto mode setup") is a Claude Code tip where Claude walks you through setting up auto mode. It looks at your project and your recent sessions to learn your environment. How to use it: 1. Step 1: open Claude Code inside the project you actually work on. 2. Step 2: type the setup command and press enter. 3. Step 3: follow the guided questions as Claude walks you through them. 4. Step 4: read what it came up with before you accept it. Why it matters: You skip the long explanation of how your setup works, because Claude picks it up from your project and recent work. It's like not having to retell your whole story every time. Why not: I haven't run it yet, so my guess is it's only as good as your recent sessions, and I'd read what it sets up before agreeing. From the Claude Code changelog, v2.1.304. One Claude Code tip a day: follow so you don't miss one. Save this for the next time you set up auto mode. Follow for more. #claudecode #aitools #devtools #buildinpublic #mcp
