nah the Khamer Rouge attacked Vietnam first after VN refused to offer more support and food. Pol Pot, no matter how dedicated he was to his people, was a shit Marxist, admitted he didn't read any Marx, and generally had no idea how to build socialism. in general I support the efforts of Pol Pot but he tried to move too quickly and lost the support of the masses and blamed VN for his failures.
