He debuted in Hong Kong but only sung in mandarin , he doesn’t have any Cantonese songs oh his own and he only has one Cantonese song and it was a cover. Yet he managed to to make it big which is a feat in itself. It’s a shame he passed away at such a young age.

If you listen closely to the songs on The Dreamer album, you'll notice that Khalil's vocal performance wasn't quite up to his usual standard. He sounded weaker and more breathless than usual, probably because his health had already deteriorated significantly by then. He was struggling to complete what would become his final album. RIP, Khalil. 🙏🏻💐

Thanks for reminding me of him, he was so talented. I bought his Orange Moon CD back in college. His music video somehow popped up on MTV back in my hometown in Bandung. 😊
