A few years ago I had a client and their family that was going to France for a working vacation during the height of some other major protest where the news was reporting how bad things were. When I texted them updates on their pets I’d always ask if they were okay or had any issues and they were like, “Nope. It’s all quiet here” and send me real time videos of the nice, quiet, peaceful and beautiful streets. Meanwhile the news made it sound like the area was a war zone.
