@fox4newsdallasfortworth: A youth softball game near Houston turned violent, leaving one man hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury and two parents facing criminal assault charges. According to police and witness video, the dispute began over a parent’s (identified as Kiarious Hall) sideline noise while the opposing team was batting. Witness video shows Hall hit another parent in the face with a metal water bottle, knocking him unconscious. The victim reportedly remains in the hospital with severe injuries, including a skull fracture, a fractured cheekbone, and brain bleeds. Hall says he acted in self defense after the other parent poked him in the chest and elbowed him. Court documents state the video reviewed by officers did not show those actions.
