@iltv_israel: Qatar has strongly denied allegations that it interfered in Israel's elections or financed efforts to influence the results. In a statement posted on X, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Dr. Majed Al Ansari accused Israeli politicians and media figures of spreading disinformation and dragging Qatar into Israel's political disputes. “If these claims were to be believed, Qatar would apparently own all of Israel,” he said. Al Ansari called the accusations “ridiculous and dangerous in equal measure,” insisting Qatar had no involvement in Israel's electoral competition. He also accused Israeli politicians of using Qatar as a scapegoat for their political failures, while reaffirming Doha's support for a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital and its continued role as a regional mediator.
