Back then in the time of dial up and limited internet time, I would save fics on word docs and read them until I can get on the internet again. I just clicked on a prompt or ship I want and copy all of them. Then I would leave comments next time I'm online 😆 it allowed me to save some of my favorite works of authors who had personal sites who weren't active anymore. I still hope to be able to praise them one day.
