I get this is a bit for content, but for the ones that are married to Healthcare workers: don't ever feel like you can vent about your day. I work ultrasound and see fetal demises, cancer, and blodclots while my wife works IT. I always want her to feel validated and communicate her bad days as well. Just because someone else may say Healthcare workers have it worse doesnt mean that the non-healthcare side don't have legitimately terrible days/experiences. Great video!!

I once had my RN gf say that medical stuff to me. I said I stayed home and watched cartoons. She paused, remained silent for a moment and said she wished she could do that. She never got mad.

One of my twins tried to escape their isolette. When I came in the nurse gave me the run down on them (twins) and then said ‘your twin b went missing for a moment 😅‘ we had a good laugh. She managed to move to the bottom of the isolette. Twin b she still likes to escape things 4 years later.

When my son was in the NICU his nurse told us “oh yeah he stopped breathing today…but it’s ok. He was just pooping” meanwhile im over there just absolutely horrified 🤣. Thankfully he’s now a healthy 5’7 120lbs 11 year old.
