@serenitysoapsnessentials: There comes a point in life when you realize you’re absolutely EXHAUSTED from trying to prove your worth to people who should’ve recognized it without a performance. Tired of always reaching out first. Tired of being the one who makes the effort. Tired of showing up for people who somehow disappear when it’s your turn to need somebody. And eventually, something changes. You stop chasing. You stop overexplaining. You stop bending over backward just to feel appreciated. Not because you’ve stopped caring, but because you’ve finally realized you deserve the same love, effort, loyalty, and respect you’ve been giving everybody else. I’m not asking for perfection. I’m asking for reciprocity. If you value me, let your actions reflect it. If you want me in your life, make room for me. And if you don’t? That’s okay, too. I know what I bring to the table. And I’m no longer exhausting myself trying to convince someone else to see it. Sometimes growth looks like walking away from places where you constantly have to prove you belong.
