We started at the beautiful St. Mary Metro Station, visited St. Sarkis Cathedral, and then met the welcoming Assyrian community at one of their churches. Did you know that Assyrians have their own language, culture, and calendar? They even shared free books with us about their language and heritage. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about one of Iran’s ancient communities and their simple, peaceful churches.
