Thats not his original name oo but because He was from ŋlɔtsé and the Ashantes do refer to him or describe him as "Komfoɔ from ŋlɔtsé". Therefore, his name remains as komfo anokye. Because the Ashantes find it difficult pronouncing Komfoɔ-ŋlɔtsé.🤔
