🗼 The Leaning Tower of Meow Mix! 🗼 I had to capture this rare phenomenon 😂 Because we go through so much food a day, we hardly ever have enough of the same food to give to everyone. We recently had a few cases of Meow Mix donated, so today, mostly everyone was able to get some ❤️ Exceptions being our sensitive tummy kitties and special needs. This doesn’t include the gallon size bag of homemade cat food, and the roughly 5-10 pounds of dry cat food we go through DAILY. Yes. Daily. Keep in mind, this tower is just from tonight’s dinner. We go through the same amount for Breakfast. We make wet food a priority for our kitties. It provides hydration that is very important in cats. Especially considering how common kidney issues are. We just thought you would like a visual and how much we actually feed a day. This also doesn’t include the other 2 colonies and 3 Foster homes we provide food for. This is why I say that cat food and meat to make our own is ALWAYS needed. Will it pudding? Inspired by Ina Garten’s brownie pudding, I am putting different desserts to the test to see… will they pudding? First up, one that I’ve been dreaming of since Ina’s recipe became popularized again recently: blondie pudding! What should I test as a pudding next? 🤔 RECIPE: Ingredients-  4 large eggs, room temp 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon fine table salt  1 Tablespoon vanilla bean paste (or pure vanilla extract) 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour  2 sticks of unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (regular size or fine too) Vanilla ice cream serving!   Steps- 1. Preheat to 325°F.Lightly butter a 9×12-inch baking dish (ceramic or glass is best) (if your dish is a bit bigger or smaller it will work just watch the bake time. 2. In a large bowl, with an electric hand beater or a stand mixer on high, beat together the white and brown sugar with the eggs for 5-7 minutes until thick and pale yellow.  3. Whisk in the salt, vanilla paste and finally the flour just until combined. Finally whisk in the melted butter until combined. 4. Fold in the mini (or regular) semi-sweet chocolate chips, distributing evenly. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and place it in a larger baking pan. Add enough of the hottest tap water to the pan to come halfway up the side of the dish and bake for 1 hour. A toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side will come out 3/4 clean. The center will appear very under-baked; this dessert is between a cookie and a pudding. Scoop portions into bowls and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you please! #browniepudding #blondiepudding #willitpudding
