@sdc18sa: Portable camping stove. So easy to assemble and use. Great for camping or if we need loose power at home. #stockpiling #stockpile #stockingup #gasstove #campinglife
water will cook and boil quicker if you put a lid on it. saves gas.

If it’s working properly you shouldn’t need a lighter. The igniter should firer it up?

It's an automatic ignition. Don't need matches or lighter. Just turn the knob until it clicks to invite.

I've got 2 of these. We had no power for 13 hours & it was a godsend. I boiled up water & put it into big Thermos Flasks so I wouldn't be using it so much for hot drinks. I also warmed up soups & put them into flasks too.

1982 just before embarking to a journey I might not come home from.My wife gave me a portable stove to take, quite a few of the lads were given them by wife's also girlfriends, why you could ask,our orders to go to war, station will be Ascension Island, a bleak cold station to set up incoming equipment. it was MOD who told us,I explained to my wife.MOD ordered hundreds of Butane cans. Results being we could heat our food up when needed, no meal times sleep times, you worked until you had no choice but to stop, eat sleep wake brew work.74 days none stop.conflict lasted 72 days.I will let you guess.

Definitely worth buying as they could be a real life saver in uncertain times. I'm all electric, so if the power goes out I've got two of these to fall back on. Be quick though, as they're starting to put the prices up dramatically. I bought mine months ago for £10-15 each. Some places are now jumping on the greed wagon, especially since the UK's government warned us to stock up. I've seen them shoot up to £80 in some places. You can still get them for about £20 on eBay, but you have to go through the lists to find the cheapest ones.
