if they possibly mixed up tests that becomes about 1000% scarier cause that means who ever DOES have it was given your clean test results and proceeded as if they were clean 😬

This happened to me too!! LIKE WORD FOR WORD THEY WOULDN’T RETEST! I had to pay for a private test. Negative. THEN they retest me. Negative again. I can’t believe this happened to someone else.

Uhmmm tmi I had the exact same thing happen to me and I had no symptoms we broke up and o was depressed for weeks… I didn’t even think twice about getting retested. I was legit so confused about the positive knowing I had no symptoms and still was given antibiotics for it. We fought for weeks over it. 😭😭😭

At 36 weeks I went to urgent care because I noticed a sore on my cooter and it hurt so bad. The urgent care doctor said she was like super sure it was herpes and was giving me all this information on how to live with herpes and how I had to start medication immediately. They ordered a blood test and did a sore of the open wound, I spent that whole night going through all the stages of grief.Next day both tests came back negative and that doctor called me and doubled down on her diagnosis and told me to start the antibiotics. I followed up with my OB the next day and she literally was like “Yeah that looks more like contact dermatitis, plus your tests are negative so it’s definitely not herpes”

I had a c section for the exact same thing ! In the 90’s it took 7 days to get test back 😡. I was negative.

“I” tested positive for a ton of drugs. Opioids, fent, cannabis, etc. got a call from my doctor asking a bunch of questions. Long story short, nurse mixed up some specimen cups.
