@propublica: In March 2020, Martin Kao, CEO of the defense contractor Navatek, met Sen. Lindsey Graham for a private steak dinner in Washington, D.C. This dinner would end up becoming the center of a sweeping FBI investigation into bribery in early 2025. The scheme involved some of the most powerful figures in Congress, Kao confessed before going to prison. In South Carolina, that included not only Graham, but also the state’s top Democrat, Rep. James Clyburn, and another influential Republican, Rep. Joe Wilson. Head to the link in our bio to read the full story.
