@nmilleffect: Single people, how much are you guys spending on groceries each month?? #singlelife #healthylivingtips #budgetmeals #fitnesstiktok #healthymealsonabudget
U need to find a farmers market or Asian market. Regular grocery store will have you overspending on groceries.

No I agree, I spent roughly $150-$200 every weekend on groceries as a single person in NYC. It’s so expensive.

I spent less for me and my son, but definitely where you shop and the things you buy matter. I do splurge in certain healthy things. NYC stores are very expensive though

Depends what you buy. Also depends where you buy. Try shopping around: Farmer’s Market (as some have said) - the Grand Army Market on Saturday is clutch. Trader Joe’s for all processed/non-local items. Local grocery store for things TJ’s does not carry. Your biggest expense should be the fish you eat - local fish markets still beat the big branded super markets.

Probably 250-300 ? I will say I don’t have a huge appetite and on weekends I will order out for dinner. I Try to go to cheaper grocery stores w discount - or has coupons. Trader Joe’s / target/ Whole Foods have reasonable prices than the avg store!
