Also, these days something has to catch my ear because I'm somewhat set in my ways. I also had some country influence in my upbringing (Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash and Elvis). This new guy Drake Milligan really made me appreciate that there will always be something new on the horizon. If you don't know him check out his AGT performance of Sounds Like Something I'd Do.

Talking about new bands that have the old gen feel, if you haven't listen to Greta Van Fleet you should check them out. Reminds me alot of led zeppelin.

I love mostly everything, I draw the line at death metal and boy bands like New Kids on the block...I feel if one really loves music you gotta appreciate all of it.

Do you have a funeral setlist? Sorry to be dark.. When I was in the hospital, I created a playlist I wanted at my memorial. Some mix of my fave groups, plus stuff to make fun. of the occasion. like Offspring's. "The future is now"

I don’t agree with Tom on a lot of things. I don’t like the dead at all, I have many friends that love it. Styx I agree with. But rush I hate. But I’d still buy Tom and his wife lunch next time I’m in Chi-town.

I remember when I was roughly 10. I guess that would be around 87. I remember listening to Pink Floyd. Elvis Van Halen Boston Fleetwood Mac. then early '90s I was collecting my own music like my first time hearing AC/DC around razor's edge time. And I collected all their stuff. Metallica, Pearl jam etc. then I got into Eazy-E Snoop Dogg Dre Eminem digital underground

I'm right along there with you with the exception of hair band music versus grunge. I dig the grunge era and could care less for hair bands. Although I think we're about 10 years apart so that lines up

Ha ha Tommy. I had a huge crush on Tiffany too. I got picked on and mocked by my bros, but I know they all had the same crush. "I think we're alone now".😅

That’s a Gen X privilege we have. There was a broad spectrum of music when we grew up
