The initiative has been organised by Nadia Adan, owner of Ashford Motors, in partnership with Greystones charity The Gavin Glynn Foundation, who help families dealing with childhood cancer, and private jet charter company Stellaer 212. The trip is also supported by An Garda Síochána, who will help create an unforgettable day for two families who have endured so much this Saturday. “It should be an unbelievable day we are all really looking forward to,” said Nadia. “It will be a real special moment for 12-year-old Jackson and seven-year-old Ada and their families. She added: “The day will start with Jackson and Ada getting collected by a convoy of spectacular supercars from Ashford Motors, complete with a garda motorcade escort to Weston Airport (in Dublin). “Once they arrive at Weston Airport they will board a waiting Stellaer 212 jet, which will deliver us all to a small airfield around 45 minutes from Disneyland Paris. “We will then go straight to Euro Disney, where we will spend the whole day having as much fun as possible. We will be staying overnight in Staycity and will then be flying back to Ireland on the Sunday.” At the heart of this event is The Gavin Glynn Foundation, an Irish children’s cancer charity that supports families whose children need to travel abroad for life-saving cancer treatment unavailable in Ireland. The Gavin Glynn Foundation is named after Gavin Glynn, a four-year-old boy from Kilcoole, who died on October 21, 2014, after suffering from a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
