@joekg_10: Let's talk about what the B.O.A.T. actually is, because the name sounds bigger than the reality. 👀 It was launched by the Ballon d'Or organizers to celebrate the award's 70th anniversary. Fair enough. But here's the catch: the B.O.A.T. is not an official Ballon d'Or trophy. 😬 It's also not the same as the Super Ballon d'Or. The B.O.A.T. asks fans to choose the best season among past Ballon d'Or-winning campaigns, with the results decided by public voting. That's a fan poll about single seasons. It's not a career honor and not a verdict from the football world. 🗳️ So here is what it comes down to: ✅ a logo, ✅ a website, ✅ a vote counter. What it doesn't have is a place in the official Ballon d'Or list. 🤷‍♂️ Now compare that with the real thing. Messi holds the record with eight Ballons d'Or. Those are on the official list, and they were awarded after full seasons of competition. You can see them in a trophy case. 👑 A poll can start a debate. It can't rewrite the honor roll. 🐐 When one side is holding eight official Ballons d'Or and the other is holding a poll result, you don't need a calculator to see which matters more. 😂 👇 Does a fan poll deserve to sit next to a real Ballon d'Or?
