When my son was 16, I asked him to get the clothes out of the dryer. He asked me "Which one?" as if he wasn't sure which giant appliance was the dryer. I asked him if he should give back his driver's license. Same kid tried to make toast in the microwave and asked me if I was able to eat deer burgers because I'm allergic to pork.

My parents were planning a family road trip to Alaska and my sister (older and at the time 17) said “uh hello? You can’t drive to Alaska. It’s an island, duh!” I asked why she thought that and she said because in geography books it shows it’s an island by Hawaii 🤦🏻♀️😂

two things I will never live down. one: my mom asked me what kind of eggs I was making and I immediately said, "large". two: i was setting up for internet and they were asking me how to spell my name and then proceeded to ask if there was a Jack in the home.... i confidently said "no, he doesnt live here anymore." we laughed and laughed and laughed.

my mom and I used to work at the same hospital in Toronto, one night my mom and I were both working and on break I went to go see her. one of her nursing friends said "I knew she had grandkids but i forgot she had kids" 😳 ma'am youre a nurse.

I had a hysterectomy when my daughter was in 3rd grade. She told her class during show and tell that I was getting my vagina removed 🤣😂 When her teacher was sharing this info with me, she couldn't stop laughing and we both were just dying with laughter. It made my surgical incisions hurt 😆

as a teen, my parents sent me to summer in europe(my sister lived there- dod employee). at customs they asked if i had anything to declare. as a drama club kid, i did in fact. deep breath, First of all, i am so happy to be here in your beautiful...," no, no, no! you need to declare?? "i declare i am happy to be here..." you got food? plants? i handed him my nut pack from the plane. the customs guy just looked at me like i was special needs & said in a tired voice, you go. go. as he pointed in a direction away from him! 😂😂

My daughter did a class project on Pocahontas in second grade. She finished the presentation by saying “she later died of eczema.” And a bunch of kids started crying… later found out several students in that class had eczema🤭 ps she actually died of pneumonia
