this seems well intentioned but there's a few things that dont sit right... I think all of these steps lean into not accepting "no" for an answer. Your partner won't be in the same journey as you, specially after giving birthday, and that is okay. Maybe its for now, maybe its forever but after receiving a "no" partners should be respectful of the others' wishes.
