1. More training doesn’t always mean better results. Quality sessions + recovery will take you further than just constantly doing more. 2. Don’t limit yourself to one style of training. Lift, run, take classes, try new sports, sign up for races. Branching out completely changed how I look at fitness. 3. Eat to fuel your training. I spent years under-eating while training hard. Once I started eating enough, my performance and recovery got way better. 4. Have some structure to what you’re doing. Track your training, know what you’re trying to improve, and give yourself something to actually progress from. 5. You don’t need a million exercises. A few good movements, challenging weights and enough effort goes a long way. 6. Soreness doesn’t mean it was a good workout. I care way more now about recovering and being able to perform well again. 7. Strength training should always have a place. Even if running or conditioning becomes your focus, building and maintaining muscle still matters. 8. Recovery is part of training. Sleep, food, rest days, mobility and easier days all count. 9. If you train multiple things, they have to work together. Lifting, running and conditioning can’t just be thrown anywhere in the week and expected to go well. 10. Fitness should make your life better, not become your entire life. Training is a huge part of my life, but work, relationships, travel and actually enjoying life matter too. #StrengthTraining #FitnessTips #HybridTraining #FitnessOver30 #TrainingTips
