@dld83377: Ghosts Returns with Two Holiday Specials—but Season 6 and Its Big Pete Cliffhanger Won’t Arrive Until 2027 Ghosts is briefly coming back to screens. But fans will have to wait for answers. CBS is airing a two-part Halloween special, “Halloween 6: The Mirror,” on Oct. 29 from 9 to 10 p.m. ET. A Christmas special follows on Dec. 10. Season 6 is set for CBS’s midseason schedule in early 2027, with no exact premiere date announced. The Halloween special follows Bela throwing an “unconventional Halloween party.” Sam is away in Australia filming, so Kyle steps in to babysit the Woodstone ghosts. Hetty also reunites with her estranged sister, Margaret. The season 5 finale ended on a cliffhanger. Sam and Jay went to London with some of the ghosts to try to save Woodstone Manor by proving it could be named a historical landmark. They succeeded. But in the final moments, Pete began to fade away until he was just a head. He may have gone too far from the grounds that protect him. It is unclear if Pete is gone for good. Actor Richie Moriarty said he is not sure either. “I hope for my sake that it’s not Pete,” he told Variety in May. Showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman said they will answer the question of what happens when Pete disappears when the show returns. Ghosts was renewed for season 6 in early 2025. Ben Feldman, who plays Kyle, has been promoted to series regular. New episodes stream on Paramount+. Do you think Pete is gone for good? #ghosts #ghostscbs #season6 #halloween #paramountplus
