@dr.shaleni_pharmacist: I may have a helper but I still choose to be present for the little things that make up my son’s childhood. ❤️ I prepare his meals, send him to school, pick him up, take him for swimming, spend time playing with him and put him to bed every single night. These are the little routines that mean so much to me and honestly, I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Somewhere in between all these, I manage my work, run my businesses and pursue my own dreams. It’s not always easy but I’ve learned to make things work because I want both.. a career I’m proud of and a childhood my son will always look back on with love. I don’t want motherhood to be something I fit into my schedule. I want my work to fit around the life I’m building with him. At the end of the day, no matter how busy I am, I want to be the one he looks forward to seeing, the one he shares his little stories with and the one who tucks him into bed at night 🥹
