I missed a gate closing by 3 minutes. I was going to have to stay in the airport overnight and was exhausted. I just nodded and went to the bathroom next to the gate to cry. The gate agent called my phone to let me know they were delayed by a few minutes and if I could get back right then they could get me on. I ran so fast and thanked them so much. If you’re not horrible, they’ll do what they can to help you.

When I missed my first flight I cried a lil. I didn’t know how easy it was to rebook, especially with delta. But I never thought “I should scream and fuss and maybe they’ll make a u turn and come get me”
