Me too!!! I lost my husband last December and I haven’t been able to watch tv either! we watched all our shows together and we would make snacks and talk about all the big oh snap moments..and now i just can’t watch them alone it makes me too sad 😭 I still don’t know how stranger things ended cause it was our favorite show ..life is just so dam sad now

My husband was killed in an 18 wheeler accident 3 months ago and the quiet at night keeps me awake. I have left the tv on tried leaving a audiobook playing nothing helps. I do manage to get a short nap in during the day but the nightmares wake me up and keep me awake.

I can’t go sit and watch a movie anymore. My son and I used to watch movies together. I’ve only watched when my grandson came and stayed. I was getting my hair cut the afternoon before my son passed away the next day morning so I’ve not gotten my hair cut since. July 4, 2025.

I will watch our favorite shows and I talk to her like she is watching with me... I know its weird but it helps with the loneliness.

Exhausted :
I don’t sleep in our bed … even though he slept mostly in the spare room because he was a horrible snorer … I can’t do it. So I sleep on the couch with our dog … 💔

Same. I haven’t even turned my tv on since my husband died. I’ve never been a big tv person but I enjoyed watching some shows with my husband. I just can’t do it without him.

i lost Dana on thanksgiving last year. I haven’t listened to music since then. We always had music playing. I don’t watch any shows we watched together or she enjoyed. I cannot go eat in a restaurant by myself. I haven’t touched a thing of hers. Everything in our bedroom that was hers is exactly where she had it. [Broken heart]😢

I haven’t watched any sports since I lost my husband 14 years ago. He would watch football, basketball and baseball. He had a TV in almost every room of the house. I rarely turn on the TV.

I can’t turn the tv off because I need the noise but I can’t watch anything we watched together. And to be honest, I’m not watching anything. Just staring in space. I only lost him last week, though, so maybe this will change.
