Success isn't guaranteed.

People can grind in video games because they have clear goals, direction, and visible progress. In real life, you have to create your own goals and keep grinding even when you can’t see your progress or know when the rewards will come. Lack of motivation or maybe even discipline may be the reason for it.

Carrie :

I respawned 10 times

Luko :

It’s really quick n easy to see the progress on a game. It’s much harder to make progress in real life

C D T :

I think it's because they know success is guaranteed in the video game, the effort they put into it gives them a reward, even if they die a few times trying, whereas in real life you can do everything right and somehow still fail... or in other words there is no guarantees in life, some people work very hard and become very successful and that's awesome! some people work very hard for years and never became successful, despite doing all the right things, at the end of the day I think that's just life... a lot of it boils down to timing and chance, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Mark :

Periods shouId be daiIy
