Recitation in the style of Sheikh Yasser Al-Dosari Imam of Masjid Mohammed Al-Othman in Al-Kharj ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Abridged), 39:53-58 A call to every sinner, whoever they are, to repent and turn back to Allah before the punishment comes. (Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah") Allah forgives every sin of the one who repents, however many, even if they are like the foam of the sea. Ibn Abbas: whoever makes people despair of His mercy after this has rejected the Book of Allah. (And return to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you) Hasten to repentance and righteous deeds before the punishment arrives suddenly, when no one can help. (Lest a soul should say, "Oh, my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah") On the Day of Resurrection the sinner will regret having neglected obedience to Allah and having mocked the truth. (If only I had another chance so I could be among the doers of good) He will wish to be sent back to do good, but the time for deeds will have passed.
