I absolutely ran out of idea anddd this is the first time I posted 😂 / on September 20, 2021, 18-year-old law student Timur Bekmansurov pulled up to Perm State University in tactical gear, carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, a knife, and extra ammo, opening fire on students and killing 6 people while over 40 were injured. Right nearby, Russian traffic police officer Junior Lieutenant Konstantin Kalinin and his partner Vladimir Makarov were handling a basic traffic accident when frantic students ran up to tell them shots were popping off on campus. Without waiting for tactical backup, they rushed over, where Makarov started evacuating terrified crowds while Kalinin drew his standard Makarov service pistol and headed straight inside the main building toward the sound of gunfire. Without waiting for tactical backup, they rushed over, where Makarov started evacuating terrified crowds while Kalinin drew his standard Makarov service pistol and headed straight inside the main building toward the sound of gunfire. As Kalinin swept the hallway, he caught Bekmansurov coming down the stairs reloading his shotgun. Kalinin yelled "Drop it!", but Bekmansurov aimed and fired right at him, so Kalinin ducked, pulled the trigger, and sprayed 8 rounds—landing 6 hits on Bekmansurov to instantly drop him to the floor. Kalinin immediately disarmed him by kicking the shotgun away and taking his knife, and even though Bekmansurov was begging to be killed, Kalinin pulled out his emergency med kit and gave him first aid on the spot to keep him alive until paramedics arrived. Bekmansurov survived (though he had to get part of his leg amputated from the gunshots) and was slapped with life in prison, while Konstantin Kalinin was awarded the Order of Courage for stepping up, taking down the shooter, and saving dozens of lives / #rampage #konstantinkalinin #antittc #эдит #hero
