Ok, I agree with this. But special consideration needs to be had for people that leave carts near handicap parking spaces. My mother is handicap and I drive her to the grocery store. She needs the carts to help her walk around the store, so when we’re lucky enough to get a handicap spot, we look out for carts near those spots so she can make inside the store more easily. When we’re done shopping I leave the cart near the handicap spot; usually against the post denoting that the spot is handicap. That way the next individual that may need it will have ready access to it.

im all for the shopping carts WHEN there is actually buggies around idk why costco has a humongous parking lot but only 1 buggy at the very FRONT of every parking lane like theres never any spots available near a buggy and im not walking 500 feet just to put a damn cart away ill definitely keep it out of the way tho

Okay but at the same time I know people don’t like to do it as a job but it is a job at the end of the day that people do if we all start putting carts back that’s a loss in the job market
