Admin terminal: wsl --install (restart once), then type: wsl Three things it does that Windows can't: 1. grep -ril password /mnt/c/Users/YOU/Documents (search inside every file in a folder for one word) 2. sudo apt install cowsay (install any of 60,000+ programs with one word) 3. python3 -m http.server (turn the folder you're in into a website on your network) Phone step: on Windows 11, add networkingMode=mirrored under [wsl2] in C:\Users\YOU\.wslconfig, run wsl --shutdown, then open http://YOUR-PC-IP:8000 on your phone (same Wi-Fi).
