No matter how much she loved and hated Leo. she deserved more raising both kids on her own becs she had to find her self and she wanted to find Leo so bad but she needed to find herself first and learn how to be her own person. Life gave her so many lessons and she was broken. 😞 Leo was toxic AF. Even after he lost his powers he was still toxic

I’m not a major Leo hater, don’t get me wrong he pisses me off sometimes, but I’m halfway through season 8 rn and I was talking about how when Leo gets frozen it’s Piper I really connect to in their love story and feel for (and in the scenes you bring up too with his betrayal). Yup- 100%. I always think Piper settled for what she thought was safe love and compromise with Leo because she didn’t want to be her parents- split up by magic. She settled for Leo because she didn’t have to hide she was a witch from him and she thought that by him pursing her - he wanted the normal life she wanted despite being magical. So she went all in or building a “normal” life with him. Only for magic to divide them because he chose it over their family. Mr. Safe broke the promise she made to herself. He never understood her, despite knowing her.

piper is such an interesting case because she literally is the heart of the show but god watching it again as an adult and seeing Leo treat her like a second thought when he pursued her?? also when he was trying to get her to choose him over Dan despite KNOWING he cannot be with her was crazy

I think Piper’s love life reflected Patty’s love life. Piper’s love for Dan didn’t work out like Patty and Victor’s love life didn’t work out. And Piper and Leo’s love life was like Patty and Sam’s love life, the reason Dan and Victor didn’t stick around or get to stick around because they was mortals, not sure how long Patty and Sam was together, but if Patty didn’t die, Patty and Sam’s love would have lasted because they both was magical. But In contrast, Piper and Leo are soul mates and Patty and Victor was soul mates. I do feel like Grams pushed Victor out. Also I think deep down Leo loved his family with passion. He embraced becoming and elder he would been in a better position to protect his family, not always but Elders did sense a lot of evil activity before the girls did. I didn’t agree with him becoming and avatar. But he did it intending to protect his family.
