@cpb1370: SOCAL AND SOUTHWEST FLOOD RISK SUNDAY🌧️⛈️⚠️ Heavy rain could lead to flash flooding across parts of Southern California and the Southwest on Sunday, November 1! The newest outlook highlights a heightened risk across much of Arizona, southern Utah, southwestern Colorado, northwestern New Mexico and a parts of southeastern Nevada. A broader elevated risk extends into Southern California, including the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, inland mountains and deserts, with isolated flash flooding possible. The risk also stretches farther into Nevada, Utah, western Colorado and New Mexico. Where heavier downpours repeatedly move over the same areas, runoff could quickly flood roads, desert washes, creeks and low-water crossings. Burn scars and slot canyons will be especially important to watch. Floodwater can also travel downstream into areas receiving little or no rain. The exact placement of the heaviest rain will become clearer as the weekend approaches. If you have Sunday travel or outdoor plans, keep checking updates - and never drive across a flooded road⚠️
