This was one of my biggest gripes coming over from the corps to the army. I just don’t agree with putting the senior TL at the front to get smoked first. Pointman is always a competent rifleman.

not an accurate representation of a firearm wedge. while sure there is a doctrine answer to distance in open or clear wooded area 10 m is too close unless you like frag grenades. most SOPs I've worked with have had it past that distance or as far as you can go while the TL can still see you and you can still see the TL ans clear more land. but other then that its cool that they have an FM
