My mental withdrawal was sometimes worse then the physical withdrawal. I remember In detox one time hallucinating that I was seeing angels and demons fighting on the wall. It was so vivid.. and then I just felt like out of my body constantly, but I went to seven detox thank God I got clean after a while because I would’ve been dead right now

No way, it’s not pleasant but benzo withdrawal can kill you and goes on for years. I went through it many times and have symptoms that may never go away.

I'm so glad that I was a chicken-shit growing up. All my friends tried drugs and I was one of the few that didn't. I lost so many friends because I wasn't fun enough to hang out with. I'm 50 now. Many of my friends became drug addicts and others sobered up but they are mentally messed up.
