These were strong women whose lives were taken by men who chose violence. From personal experience, I know how quickly things can escalate when you stand up for yourself or try to leave. They were trying to break free and that breaks my heart. I am one of the women who barely made it out alive. I wish they had too. Rest in peace, you beautiful souls. 🕊️

Unfortunatly stopping wouldn’t have saved them, since a lot of them got ki*ed when they wanted to leave 💔
