I was asked to pay $1000 extra for my in-laws’ kids on the family vacation. They have TWO properties and a brand new car, while I had none at that time. And I had to subsidize their kids???

Yup. I paid half of a trip with 1 other adult BUT she brought 4 kids.... and only halved the massive rental car we needed. happened again this last July. I will no longer be paying for errone. either I pay for me and mine or not go.

I was on a weeks course with work, everyone attending (12) met for an evening meal, someone lived nearby and bought their husband and 2 kids for the meal. They expected the meal to be split between 12. First and last time during week did I meet up with the whole group. I mean her husband and kids got a free bloody meal. Nope not happening again

I had adults do this. Said per person but that they their boyfriend and mum counted as one person!! They took the 2 bedrooms the rest of us had pullouts in the sitting room and airbeds
