I lived in Los Angeles during the Northridge quake in 1994. I’ve lived through a couple of ice storms in Texas that knocked out not just the power but the water pump stations. You best believe I have food, water, ways to cook, power banks, a solar charger, ways to defend it all, etc. I can’t imagine being so sure everything would be fine that I had not even 3 days’ worth of supplies.
