@lmriviere: DARK HISTORY: Treat or Treat, Black Halloween, & Devil’s Night🖤🎃🔥 The night of October 31st has been celebrated or feared for thousands of years. But, if you grew up in North America, it’s history might be even wilder than you know. Here is the story of how Halloween was almost barred from North American neighborhoods, and what saved it💀 #darkhistory #LearnHistoryonTikTok #historytok #halloween #HistoryTime

I remember Devil's Night in Detroit during the 60's-70's Fire departments announced they weren't going out I can't imagine 800 fires...my biggest was 400 some. The night sky glowed yellow

Either it's the Twiglight Zone reboot or Outer Limits who had a gremlin come trick o treating to a grumpy man's door who refused to give candy. . The guy would space out for days at a time without feeling it. To him it was still Halloween night. Every few minutes he would space out for days. He died of malnutrition by his reckoning of the next morning.
