@japdmedia26: FLORIDA, UNITED STATES 🇺🇸 — Former President Bill Clinton is making headlines after taking a swipe at President Donald Trump’s redesign of the White House Rose Garden. Clinton made the remark on October 20 while campaigning in Florida for a Democratic gubernatorial candidate. Criticizing Congress for not challenging the renovation, he said: “I think Congress made a mistake not protesting turning the Rose Garden into what looks like the entrance to Liberace’s bathroom.” The comment drew laughter from the audience. Days later, the clip gained wider attention after it was featured on Fox & Friends Weekend on October 24, sparking a wave of reactions on social media. One user praised the line as a “99 mph fastball right on the outside corner,” while another wrote, “Old Bubba got bangers.” Others agreed with Clinton’s criticism of the redesign. However, some users defended the late entertainer Liberace, while others questioned whether Clinton’s own presidential record gave him room to criticize Trump. Trump’s renovation, carried out in 2025, replaced the Rose Garden’s central grass lawn with a white limestone patio. The redesigned space has also been adapted for hosting events and dinners. The online response shows how a single political joke can quickly become a viral moment, drawing both applause and criticism across social media. #BillClinton #DonaldTrump #Liberace #FloridaUSA #japd
