SOMETHING broke in society after 2020 and nobody wants to talk about it. And I'm not talking about masks, lockdowns, or COVID. I mean the FEELING of life. Everything reopened. We went back to work. Restaurants filled up. Events came back. But somehow life still feels... different. Years disappear faster. People feel more disconnected. Everything feels more expensive, stressful & rushed. And somehow we're all constantly exhausted. I can't even explain exactly what we lost. I just know life before 2020 felt more ALIVE. GOD BLESS YOU 🙏🏾

girl i hear you. 31 here. I did everything they claimed we had to, to be successful. I stayed out of trouble, i got a full scholarship to college, no student loan debt. I still can't make enough. No money for bills let alone groceries, let alone to look nice, occasionally get my hair done and buy clothes. My mom bought her first home at 21 for 50k. (home owners program whatever) built it from the ground up. she has no college degree and was a bank teller, in 2000. She sold that home for 450k in 2017. I can barely afford my small apartment. I wake up everyday terrified that i'll ever even own a home.
