@mayorseanryan: 🐾 Today, we’re proud to announce that we’ve selected 294 Louisiana Street as the site of the next City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. Over the past year, we’ve worked with our Animal Shelter Advisory Committee and other experts to determine what our next shelter needs to provide. One thing was always clear: a new shelter is long overdue. Our staff, volunteers, and animals deserve a facility that gives them the space and resources they need. This is a $30 million investment in animal care and in the future of our city. We’ve taken the time to get this right, and we look forward to continuing the work toward a new shelter that our community and its animals deserve.

Mayor Sean M. Ryan

We’re fucking bankrupt. Our taxes are too fucking high and we’re worried about an animal shelter. We already have about 16 in the area.

Now let's find a people shelter. Winter is coming, the homeless and people living out their vehicles are going to need a warm place
