It's an unfortunate situation but it's an and1 by rule. Whenever a player is in shooting motion you can't touch the rim at all cause you can imagine how much easier it would be to block shots if that was legal. Most of the time this happens it's not as extreme as Ausars jump where he clearly had to do what he did to avoid injury, but it's still a foul and a counted basket
