@theroguednc: According to an investigation by Drop Site News, Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers and his wife, Kristi, saw their wealth explode while he served as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. In July 2011, just seven months after Rogers became chairman, Aegis, a private military security company where his wife was vice chair, won a $1.017 billion government contract to protect the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan. Financial disclosures showed the couple added hundreds of thousands of dollars to their wealth during his chairmanship. After Rogers left Congress, the couple gained millions more as he began working for companies in industries he previously oversaw. Rogers denies using his position to benefit his family.

chilli chicken 🌶️ recipe: for the chicken 400g boneless chicken, bite-sized 2 tsp ginger garlic paste juice of 1 lemon 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 tsp black pepper powder salt to taste 2 tsp all-purpose flour 2 tsp cornflour red food color, optional oil for frying for the sauce oil 1 tbsp chopped ginger 1 tbsp chopped garlic 2–3 green chillies, chopped 1 small onion, chopped 1 small capsicum, chopped 2 tsp red chilli sauce 2 tsp tomato ketchup 1 tsp dark soy sauce 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp black pepper powder salt to taste 3/4 cup cornflour slurry chopped coriander leaves method 1. add the chicken to a bowl with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, red chilli powder, kashmiri chilli powder, black pepper, salt, flour, cornflour and a little food color. mix well and fry until cooked through and lightly crisp. set aside. 2. heat some oil in a pan. add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and sauté for a few seconds. 3. add the onion and capsicum and stir-fry on high heat, keeping them slightly crunchy. 4. add red chilli sauce, ketchup, dark soy sauce, red chilli powder, black pepper and salt. mix well. 5. add the cornflour slurry and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy. 6. add the fried chicken and toss everything together until well coated. finish with chopped coriander and serve hot. #chillichicken #indianfood
