@of1ai: OpenAI just doubled the usage limits on the Pro plans. Pro 200 goes back to 20x and Pro 500 goes up to 50x. My CTO, Bo Wang, ran the same coding skill on two models. GPT-6.1 Sol took about 5 hours and $60 to $90 a run. GPT-6 Astra took about 30 minutes and $16 to $20. Even if Astra needs three tries, it finishes about 2 hours sooner and about $30 cheaper than a typical Sol run. And on every Pro plan, the math comes to about $10 per Plus account. Good view my friend. I have SOL make the plan send it to codex, back to sol with a next Astra check back to SOL. Astra catches a lot or errors so dose sol.

We are having issues where the token burn of Claude when handing off to codex is almost cost prohibitive. What are some effective strategies for agnostic LLM handoffs?

He’s not even lying. It’s a fact because that’s what I do with Codex right now and ChatGPT and working back-and-forth with my projects, but I’ve been using sol just because once you click on Astro intelligence, it’s gonna consume more tokens at a faster rate but the way you just explained it makes sense in a whole new sense as far as time consumption and time spent on an actual project. I have a better question, though if you were a student about to transition into your final year and your researching AI and your researching six different fields outside of your actual degree and you see a connection between all these industries and you want to build a project but you’re a student and you’ve run into computing limits because you’re working on a laptop. Where would you start if you wanted to build a business from scratch while still finishing up your last year in college and focusing on learning AI and get a broad overview of the other fields and how they would connect to the bigger vision or project and having an overall view not a technical view, but an overall view of the six industries and how they all connect using AI tech technologies what I’m essentially trying to figure out is I see some gaps and interconnections between six industries and want to create a company that’s going to support my R&D in the background after graduation and hiring the right people to achieve it.
