A few gentle reminders: 🤍 Offer comfort when baby needs closeness 🥄 Let them explore a baby-safe spoon while seated upright and supervised 🍽️ Respect a closed mouth or turned head, even if they enjoyed that food yesterday 🌙 Night waking can still happen; respond to feeding and comfort needs For every sleep, put baby on their back on a firm, flat, approved infant sleep surface with no pillows, loose blankets or toys. Sofas, loungers and bouncers are not safe sleep spaces. And “common” does not mean every change should be brushed off. Persistent distress, feeding difficulty, fewer wet diapers or loss of a skill deserves a conversation with your baby's clinician. You do not have to decode every moment perfectly.
