I went bc I was throwing up/couldn’t keep food down. Ended up on the emergency transplant list and surgery a month later. So sudden, but I’m here 😭🙏🏼

if you’re older and drink a lot you not only need your bloodwork but also a fibroscan. a fibroscan monitors the stiffness and scarring. i get 1 once a year. and bloodwork 2 times a year. i’ve drank beer heavily since a teen. i’m 50. my liver still shows no scarring. genes do a play a role. we’re sicilian italin and our genes developed over time with wine at every meal.

I get right side under the ribs pain. My liver enzymes were over 300 and they found a small growth thankfully benign

I had the same pain. I was very fortunate the pain was so bad i stopped drinking. If there was no pain i would of continued to drink. 10yrs sober. Liver back to normal

Going to the hospital literally saved my life from drinking too much. If I didn’t get checked I wouldn’t have made it another 1-2 years they said. Hope you’re doing good!

I was a binge drinker. Didn’t drink every day but definitely 3+ days a week and sometimes in was all week. 20+ drinks on days I drank. Liver markers never got bad. Been sober for 7 years and my blood work is of a 25 year old.

I threw up every single morning. First thing. Really sucked the nights I binged ate the night before. I would throw up so hard I would break blood vessels in my eyes.

last time I did this in January, I was in the ER for pancreatitis. if you have a dull consistent pain under your ride side ribs, it's probably your pancreas... I relapsed, and now here I am bloated again and doing this myself hopefully no ER this time around 🤦🏻♀️30hours in....
