also, I live in Aus and I've shared your account with my case manager and allied health team members and they are all obsessed 😍 your impact and dedication is truly remarkable ❤️before my health imploded, I was an RN aspiring to transition to medical school for what I would say are similar motivations as you for doing what you do. I'm not longer in the position to practice let alone study or work at all. so as someone who cannot meet these dreams, thank you for sharing your journey as well, it means more than you can imagine to have access to ❤️

so true. and the way healthcare is essentially a corporate business model and capitalist supply and demand chain. I don't blame practitioners for working within these imposed conditions but they also will produce and fuel biased care, stigmas and many of the psychosocial and socioeconomic influenced barriers to care that so many chronically ill and disabled folk who are also marginalised have to endure. it's impossible for everyone involved- kinda like the quote from Winston Churchill film with Gary Oldman, "you cannot reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth". I see patients and practitioners in this situation and we all have to refuse to reason and demand better for practitioner safety and integrity as well as the health and safety of individuals and our communities that all rely on the corporate healthcare conglomerates.
